An orange tabby cat was in the marshy forest, her pelt bristling. Her emerald green eyes rested on the spot where she murdered her father, who, murdered her mentor and her mother. She walked off, grabbing her squirrel and sparrow along the way. Her features spoke her attitude; strong fearless, not trusting anyone.
She padded into the camp and dropped the sparrow into the pile. She walked to the Medicine Cat den. "Toadflax, I got you a squirrel," she called out to him. Her voice echoed a bit.

The large tom-cat lifted hesitated before answering. His paw edged into the middle of two piles of thyme leaves, he seperated the lush and fresh leaves from the dried up and rotting ones until they were perfect. He lifted his head and glanced over to Tigerheart. Usually it was the apprentices that got him his prey, but it was nice to see a fellow warrior pitch in every once in a while. He nodded once, "Hm, okay." His voice was low and husky, yet strong and held good with his seemingly hansome body.
He stood effortlessly and padded over to the deputy and the squirrel, "Thank you, Tigerheart." Toadflax murmured and and bent down to eat. He stripped the fur and skin from the squirrel under the eyes of Tigerheart. The brown tabby markings showed on his back in the lighting, and it added an extra layer to the cat called Toadflax, that being hansome.
While he found no attraction towards Tigerheart, he did happen to favor her. She was good at scaring the kits into taking their medicene and her personality was rather amusing. His tail twitched to one side and he swalled a bite of squirrel.

Tigerheart smiled. She smiled a lot, but she hadn't lately. Oh, well.. She broke her streak. Her orange tabby tail twitched a little. She nodded, never saying thank you or your welcome to a cat. "A kit was crying about you being mean." She laughed a little. She fancied him a little... He was rude, and... Ugh, it was against the warrior code. Her tail twitched again.
"The mother agreed," she added.

A mix between a chuckle and a purr came up his throat while he ate. He tore one of the small arms from the socket of the freshly killed squirrel and fiddled it in his mouth, "I don't blame them." His tail twitched one side to the next, his orange amber eyes narrowed, "Well, as long as they take the herbs they're given, it doesn't matter. Does it?" Toadflax didn't expect her to answer, he crunched down on the bone and lapped up the marrow before eating more from the body. Being sharp and 'mean' scared the kits, apprentices, and even some warriors into taking their medicene. It was probably why he didn't have an apprentice yet, but that wouldn't matter for a long time yet.

The orange she-cat purred a little. "It does if you're making a reputation. Oh - and - I got caught in the thronbushes today. I got a few cuts.. I wanted to make sure they didn't get infected." Her voice was somewhat emotionless. She turned her head to look at the cuts on her flank. They were somewhat deep, but they stopped bleeding.

Toadflax finished his squirrel and pushed it to the side of the den, "Clean off the wound and I'll get a poultice ready." He said simply and went back into the storage. Only his tail was to be seen from back here, his head was buried in herbs looking for marigold.

The deputy started to lick her wounds, keeping an eye on Toadflax. She sat down and finally started to fully groom herself. She felt like she should look her best. She finished grooming and looked back at the Medicine Cat.

Toadflax came back with poultice in paw. He rubbed it over Tigerheart's flank and covered it with oak leaves, "No more warrior duties for the rest of the day." He said simply and stepped back almost seconds later. Well, you coudln't say he took his time, but he did a splendid job.

Tigerheart moaned. "StarClan, today will be utterly boring." Her whole plan was to hunt for the rest of the day and critisize the apprentices on their fighting and hunting skills. That plan was ruined. She had nothing to do, so she said, "Do you mind company?" Her voice was low as if she didn't want to.

Toadflax shook his head, "Not at all." He murmured and went back to sorting herbs. Now he had to soak horsetail. It wasn't the funnest chore, but it had to be done. The dark marked tom went to pull out all the horsetail and see if any had begun rotting.

Tigerheart looked where he was looking. "Do you need help with anything?" she suddenly asked. She had nothing better to do.
[Lol, writer's block.]

Toadflax shook his head, "Nope." He said, carrying over a bundle of horsetail to a pool and resting them in the shallow water.

The sun was up brightley shinning down upon the Shadowclan camp. Thick towering trees prevented most light which tried to make its way into the mossy clearing. This morning Shadestar couldnt help but already feel flustered. He had paced in his den before coming out to see if he could talk to his new deputy, Tigerheart. No patrols had been made, the freash kill pile was empty and with Hawkstar being stealthy as ever things couldnt be worse. Shadestar could feel his heart race as he searched desperatly for Tigerheart. His eyes were filled with nothing but frustration and plain stress. His brillant eyes scanned the clearing once more in search for his deputy. His eyes then caught her. He looked more closely. Behind the lichen which hung from Toadflax's den he spotted her. Her eyes seemed to watch the medicine cat which a emotion Shadestar didnt even want to know about. He quickley made his way over to the den and his large pure coal black head stuck through the entrance. "Am I interrupting" he meowed simply his brow raised.

Tigerheart looked at her leader. "Shadestar.." she murmured. She was blushing. "I ran into thornbushes this morning... I got cut and Toadflax told me to stay in the camp today.." Her voice was emotionless as ever. She blinked.

Shadestar eyed her for a moment, carefully scanning her face. He shook his head though he shouldnt do that. He had choosen her out of trust and right now he wasnt trusting her. Its not what a leader is supposed to do to his deputy. He simply smiled and looked at Toadflax "well get her patched up and ready to go. She has several patrols to organize and the food pile is quite low." he meowed camly.
