Name - Ironheart
Gender - Tom
Age - 36 moons
Clan - ThunderClan
Rank - Deputy if open, otherwise Warrior
Picture -
Description - Ironheart is a pretty much an average-sized cat. He has medium-length fur that is mostly brown, but he has brownish-black stripes, all down his body. Ironheart has strange, cheetah-like markings around his eyes.
His front feet are light brown, like the rest of him, but his two back feet are more of a browny-grey. Ironheart's eyes are a light leaf-green colour, and they always seem to convey his exact emotion.
Perhaps his most defining physical characteristic is the small nick in the top of Ironheart's left ear. This is from a battle that is too long ago to remember, but it serves as Ironheart's reminder that his life could end at any moment. Ironheart's pelt is marred with many battlescars ranging over several moons. Most cats are intimidated by Ironheart upon first meeting, as his appearance is a little frightening.
Personality - Although his looks denote cruelty, anger and violence, Ironheart is a very pleasant cat. He believes that any cat can accomplish their dream, as long as they keep their trust in StarClan strong. He values his own Clan over anything else, even his warrior ancestors. If he had to choose, Ironheart would immediately do what benefitted the Clan, but he would never break the warrior code unless he was desperate.
Ironheart likes it when the Clans are at peace with one another, but this does not hold him back in battle. He used to be a valiant fighter, but he always threw caution to the winds when a battle came. When he was severely injured in a battle over territory, Ironheart decided to rethink the way he fought. Now, he is as strong as ever, but battles with a little more caution.
As far as weaknesses go, sometimes Ironheart gets worked up. It takes a lot to make him truly angry, but once he's mad, Ironheart will not forgive easily. His anger often blinds him to the situation he is in, and sometimes he acts without thinking.
Ironheart was warned, as an apprentice, that his courage and strength must only be used for the good of the Clan, and not to fight any personal battles. Throughout his apprenticeship and warriorhood, Ironheart has grown to have a bit more control over his actions, but he is still known to fly into a rage every now and again...
History - Ironheart was born to Snowpelt and Timidclaw of ThunderClan. He is a pure ThunderClan cat, and he has no blood from other Clans. He had 2 sisters, and one brother. Frostkit, Dustkit and Winterkit. They grew close, but a forest fire ended up with Ironheart without his parents and siblings. For some time afterwards, he wouldn't leave the nursery, and the queen assigned to look after him grew increasingly concerned as Ironheart lost interest in suckling. When his apprentice ceremony arrived, he seemed more alert, and his confidence grew and grew, and his mentor was very impressed. He was named Ironheart quickly, as his training with his mentor progressed fast. He gets lonely, as he has no kin in the forest. He may always have his kin on his mind. But he will put his past aside when it comes to battle and protecting the Clan.
RP Example -Ironheart sighed; his breath sending several fallen leaves to drift through the air, as if re-enacting their great fall. Hunting patrols were so tiring! Granted, Ironheart had volunteered for the job, but that was only because of the unwavering loyalty he felt to his Clan.
The gray-pelted warrior flicked his ear, mildly irritated at the lack of prey the forest was offering him today. It seemed like the last time anyone in ThunderClan had had a square meal had been moons ago. Ironheart knew this was nothing unusual; prey always became scarcer during leaf-fall. He sighed once again, then stood up, stretching until every sore muscle seemed to pop back into place.
Ironheart blinked, opening his mouth in an attempt to scent any nearby prey. His ears pricked up excitedly as he saw a rustle in the small collection of ferns beside him. Dropping into the hunter's crouch, Ironheart began to stalk the prey, which he could tell from the scent, was a mouse.
Slowly, slowly, Ironheart drew one paw over another as he crept closer to the mouse. Silently, he lowered his body, preparing to pounce on the hapless creature. With no warning save for a slight twitch of his whiskers, Ironheart was in the air. He landed softly, pinning the rodent down and lowering his head to give it a swift killing bite to the neck. Satisfied, Ironheart scraped the soft earth over his catch, as if he was burying his dirt. He would come back for the mouse later.
I've earned a rest. Ironheart thought to himself, and settled down on the forest floor once again. Frowning slightly, Ironheart began to ponder....
I wonder why I feel so exhausted today. It's not as if I've been out patrolling since dawn or anything... Really, I only just woke up before this hunting mission! ...Well, maybe it's not that I'm tired. Maybe it's just that hunting by yourself gets so...lonely. Ironheart twitched his ears sadly as he accepted what the true casue of his fatigue was. Yes, that must be it. Next time I'll invite Fourleaf to come with me! he vowed, perking up at once at the thought of hunting with the cat he loved.
Happy again, Ironheart stood up and shook himself. He prepared to set off for another hunt when his strong nose caught an unfamiliar catscent. Immediately stiffening, Ironheart called, "Who's there? You are not welcome on ThunderClan territory!" Ironheart narrowed his eyes, preparing to fight, as the bushes in front of him rustled.
