[ Speedwell | Jaysong | Blightpaw ]
Speedwell padded up to what seemed to be the edge of the Riverside Meadow. The sound of water gently slicing through the meadow was a sure-sign of such. Blackbirds with their red throats and white bellies specked the land - calling out no warning signs of the easily hidden tom. His forest green eyes looked over the meadow and he sighed with content. This had to be his favorite place upon the RiverClan territory. It was a meadow, and somewhat like the moors except not endless and loping. His legs were built for such a task.
But that was not the direct task. They had to skim the border between RiverClan and ShadowClan, and then double-back to the river for a hunting party. Seeming he had just been out on a hunting patrol, he would probably use that time to train his apprentice some, if she showed up. Now he was simply waiting for Jaysong and Blightpaw, and then they would set off. He settled himself down in the meadow, and closed his eyes. Cocked ears turned to listen to the sounds around him, but besides that all was peaceful.

Soft pawsteps made their way quickley down the trail away from Riverclan camp. The river echoed loudly throughout the trees and a warm breeze blew across the moss covered floor. Jaysong's eyes were peeled and her ears were perked. Her small agile body gave away when she appeared before Speedwell beside a large oak tree. She smile politly and dipped her head as she came closer to Speedwells postion.
"Ready to go?" she asked seating herself in front of the larger tom.

"Well, I was hoping my apprentice would show up." Speedwell glaced at Jaysong with a smile. His forest green eyes flashed, but showed no emotion. He looked back and scanned over the meadow, "Let's give her another moment or two to show up, shall we?" Speedwell murmured, and brought his paw up to wash it.
OOC: I also made a post in the mountains where Ashfoot could show up if you want. It's called Opportunity.

((Ah Okay np))
Jaysong curled her tail around her small white paws. She looked around and then scanned the trail just awaiting any moment thata spirited young apprentice would be running down. But there was nothing, she nodded her head. "Alright no rush" she meowed.

A white cat padded delicately down to the scent of her mentor and Jaysong. She padded so silently and swiftly, she looked like a ghost. Only the tip of her tail gave her away. It was pure black, from her father.
She stopped at the other side of Speedwell. She would speak, but currently, she only spoke to Speedwell. Only Speedwell. If anyone was there, like Jaysong, she'd keep her mouth shut. She didn't sit down, noticing they were waiting for her and they will be leaving. She nodded curtly to Jaysong, but her eyes were for Speedwell.

Speedwell nodded, "Okay, everyone's here, let's go." He murmured and set off across the meadow and towards the RiverClan and ShadowClan border. Birds fluttered from there hiding places at the seemingly hidden Speedwell walked by, but besides that all was quiet.

Blightpaw followed her mentor. This was her first patrol. She hoped she wouldn't goof up like she did when they were fishing. Being under the water frightened her a little, now, but she would get over it. Her tail was high, but other than that, she showed no excitement. Her ears were flat on her head.

Jaysong nodded her head and smiled sweetly to Speedwells apprentice. She wondered what it was like to bare the responsiblity of teaching an apprentice. Hm.. She stepped up to her feet and silently follwed after them.
